One-day industrial visit at ANC Medical Device BD Ltd.
As part of its commitment to practical learning and industry-academia linkage, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at MIST organized a one-day industrial visit on 8th March 2025 to ANC Medical Device BD Ltd., one of the leading medical device manufacturers in the country. This visit allowed students to witness firsthand the various stages of medical device design, development, quality control, and manufacturing processes in a real-world industrial environment. Through guided factory tours, interactive sessions with industry professionals, and technical demonstrations, students gained practical insights into regulatory standards, biomedical instrumentation, and local innovation in healthcare technology. The experience not only enhanced their academic understanding but also broadened their perspective on career opportunities and the vital role of biomedical engineers in the healthcare ecosystem of Bangladesh.
